Volunteers are needed to help us get items of need, organize, pack, label and fill containers. Some of the volunteer positions we need help with are:
→ Volunteers who can identify potential sources of supplies and/or donations.
→ Volunteers need to contact and solicit help from these sources.
→ Volunteers are needed to arrange pick ups of donations and supplies, and to get them to the warehouse.
→ Once there, volunteers are need to sort, package, identify, and label all items.
→ On packing days, volunteers are needed to help fill these containers to absolute maximum capacity.
→ Volunteers are then needed to help clean the warehouse and prepare to go through the full cycle again.
The Dubois Charitable Foundation needs a wide range of talents and abilities to make all of this happen.
Perhaps you’re a great communicator! Help us spread the word!
Maybe you have a vehicle and some time on your hands – a great opportunity to help with pickups.
If you’re close enough to the warehouse, you could join a sorting or packing party!
Our network of volunteers includes people from Woodstock, St. Thomas, London, Brantford, Cambridge, Chatham, Halton, Goderich, Kitchener,Toronto, Oshawa, Cobourg and Barrie.
